So happy to see you in this blog!! Quickly! I'll tell you my recently learning experience. C'mon girls!
The first, teacher asked us to check our answers in the worksheets with a partner. I checked it with Pimook. Our answers were almost same. I was glad so much.
Next, teacher taught us about types of recount, how to distinguish structure of recount and language features!
Types of Recount
1.Personal Recount - retelling of an activity that the writer/speaker
has been personally involved in
2. Factual Recount - recording the particulars of an incident like a report of a science experiment, police report, news report, historical account)
3. Imaginative Recount - taking on an imaginary role and giving details of events
Structure of recount
1. Orientation : giving the reader/listener the background information
2. Events : giving the reader/listener a series of events
3. Reorientation : look like a conclusion of text
Language features
General
- Specific participants like Mrs. Nina
- Use Simple past tense
- Use of action verb
- Use of linking item to do with time
Personal Recount
- Use of first person pronoun (I,we)
Factual Recount
- Use of third person pronoun (he,she,it,they)
After that we read the text and answer the question that follow in exercise 3. Next, she asked us 'What benefits do you get from analyse the text?' and asked us to answer her in our weblog.
Then the teacher taught us to analyse news report. The lead of this news is
'Five Vietnamese nationals were arrested for stealing cash from crowded shops in popular tourist areas in Chiang Mai's Muang district, provincial police chief Pol Maj-General Montri Sambunnanont said yesterday '
At last of this activity she asked us to write the word that related this news. She told us who often concentrated activity that she asked, they will get a score. So I went to write it fastly!

Homework
My Grandpa's Funeral
- Gathered together with relatives in Toraja
- Grandpa's body was dressed in a fine wearing and kept
- Slaughtered the pigs and buffaloes
- Moved the corpse to the face north
- Placed the corpse in a sandal wood coffin
- Brought it out of the house and placed on an open platform beneath the granary
- Prepared the wooden puppet and a funeral tower call lakian

- I think we have to be careful all the time when we have to go out
because danger is all around you and people in the present time are untrustable.
Difference between Thai's Funeral and Indonesian's Funeral
Thai
- Watering for the corpse is the first ceremony of funeral
- Corpse was dreesed in a fine wearing and was made up
- Corpse was tied with flowers,candles and joss sticks on his or her
hands
- Have funeral liturgy by 4 monks
- Have cremation ceremony at the end of funeral
Indonesian
- Don't have watering funeral ceremony
- Corpse was dressed in a fine wearing
- Have the wooden puppet that represent the corpse
- Have funeral tower call lakian
- Bury the corpse at the end of the funeral
- Slaughtered the pigs and buffaloes
