Fashion class!

Welcome to the world of fashion!

Finally, the seventh week was coming! this class we learnt about the new unit: Fashion. First of all,the instructor presented us about fashion's pictures and asked us to guessed what were they such as fishnet stockings,halter top,miniskirt etc.

Then,she assigned us to wrote glossaries on fashion on the whiteboard. We thought together and wrote them successively. There were a lot of words like high heels,miniskirt,Victoria Secret,red carpet,sneakers etc.

I was writng some of words about fashion.

Kittiporn was looking a mind mapping on the whiteboard.

Then,she gave us new worksheets and asked us to do exercises. The first exercise was label the pictures using the words from the list. We enjoyed with it so much because it was very easy.

The next one was check right symbol the sentence you think are true. I thought all of these were true,but when I read the story 'Fusion or Confusion!'on the next page, I felt like I was decieved because everything opposed to my idea!

After that,the instructor assighned us to read the text

'Fusion or Confusion!' by skimming within 5 minutes and analyzed for topics of each paragraphes in order to wrote them on whiteboard. I was confused a little bit but I can did it well and I wrote the topic of the fifth paragraph too. I thought I knew a lot of new words about fashion from this like put on,dress up,putting on,had on etc.

Then,we did the next exercises on page 70: choose the correct summaries of the text from three choices(a,b,c). The next exercise is answer the guestions from the text. There were variety of questions's pattern such as finding reference,finding words from

their definition or multiple choices. Until grammar part,I had learnt about used to and did grammar's exercises. But students have to do homework so we have got 2 topics for leave a comment about fashion. Let's do homework together!!

1. I think the TV programs about my country are not true to life because there are period dramas that all players have to wear retro clothes but nowadays people don't wear it. Or dramas about foreign people like Fah-charod-Sai. It's about Arabian people so the players have to wear Arabian dresses.
